Our Database has 1072 games (766 DS titles and 306 Wii titles) serving 4448 members | More Stats

Our goal is to provide you with a Nintendo DS internet radio show filled with useful information produced in an entertaining manner. We offer a lot more than the radio show - find, rate, track DS and Wii games; enter your game friend ids and find other people's codes; our live chat; busy discussion forums; watch our exclusive game videos; and more!

Shane R. Monroe and Chris Hentschel join together to discuss the Nintendo DS, games of the past, present and future as well as help you avoid the nasty shovelware titles that aren't worth your hard earned cash. Two screens ... two viewpoints ... twice the information - four times the fun. Listening ... Is Good

One of our loyal UK listeners wrote in to let us know an interesting piece of information.  Seems the Nintendo DS title CROSSWORDS, the well-reviewed crossword title here in the US is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT game in Europe!  It is apparently quite crappy and NOT even close to the fantastic Nintendo released title.  Be warned and don't buy blind!

I rarely gush and post stuff like this in the news area, but I want people to be aware of this title, support it and tell your friends about it.  The game is called Soul Bubbles, and it's out July 1.  We have the import and we can't tell you enough just how GREAT this title is.  You'll hear more on the show, but preorder and get your copy.  Let's support this one and show the publishers that innovative, killer titles like this CAN get the love (and sales) they deserve.

We are currently migrating the DSR.com website style sheets to line up with the DSR Wi-Fi Uplink's style sheets.  This means you may see some odd looking text/background combinations where things might not even be readable.  We hope by later today, none of this will be an issue.  Still, we wanted to let you know!

There are constantly little tweaks going on here at DSR.com and at the Uplink site to try to make your experience better.  I figured for those that do an RSS subscription to this feed might appreciate a little more frequent update as to what's going on over here.

First off, you may have noticed a change here in this front page.  We now show the coming attractions for Wii and DS (eventually it will be "system aware" and not show titles for a system you're not interested in) for this week.  You can always click through the box art to our full DSR database entry.  As always, if you're buying from Amazon.com anyway, we appreciate clicking through our database entry to Amazon first - they throw us a pittance when you do.

Next up - the WiFi Uplink site ... I've been streamlining some of the UI to make it a bit easier on those with lower resolutions and a bit more inline with what I'm eventually hammering out for the DSR Portal 2.0 which will combine these sites officially.  The changes are minor, but noticable.  You can also now COLLAPSE the areas  you're not using to make more room for the areas you ARE using.  Unfortunately, these settings are NOT sticky yet - so they will reset each visit.  I'm a HUGE champion of personalization so eventually I'll be completely rewriting the personalization modules and making them more robust.

I've also integrated Skype into the Wifi Tournament system to give easy access to players' Skype information so that it's possible to "trash talk" while kicking each other's ass.  Our own Alex J Lopez has written a very nice Skype integration article on our Official FAQ.

Anyway, hope you guys like the updates - more are coming - and of course, another show is coming as well.  Stay tuned!
